TAPIZ PARA COLGAR / WEAVING WALL HANGING

Esta semana os propongo que creeis vuestro propio «weaving wall hanging», es decir, un tapiz para colgar y decorar las paredes de una forma diferente. Es una actividad muy entretenida y con unos resultados muy bonitos.

Puedes jugar con las formas, los colores, los tejidos, flecos… un sinfín de posibilidades para crear tu propia obra de arte. Tienes varias opciones para crear tu telar, hacer un telar DIY con cartón o madera, como es mi caso, o comprar un telar por unos 20 euros, aqui venden uno de la marca RICO-DESIGN que está muy bien y además creo viene con bolsa de algodón para que lo guardes.

Y así os podeis entretener horas y horas mientras fuera llueve y llueve, y vosotros calentitos, tapados con vuestra mantita preferida y haciendo un tapiz monísimo, como alguno de los ejemplos que os traigo hoy como ilustración. Cada tapiz está extraído de alguno real, y haciendo click en su número podreis ver la página web donde se encuentra, así como algún DIY tutorial en el número siete.

This week’s proposal is that you create your own weaving wall hanger to decorate your walls in a new and different way. It’s a very crafty and entertaining activity which gives a really nice results.

You can play with shapes, colors, tissues, fringes… you have many possibilities to create your own piece of art. You have several options to create the loom, you can do it yourself with carton or wood, as I did, or buying one for 20€. Here you will be able to buy one of the RICO DESIGN brand which is quite good and also I think that it also includes a tote-bag to carry it.

This way you will be busy doing it for hours while outside is raining cats and dogs, and you with your favorite blanked doing a beautiful weaving for your wall, like the ones that I’m showing you in the illustration.
